The fast-absorbing upper layer in LivDry Shaped Pads quickly pulls in the liquid and channels it down “troughs” to spread the liquid evenly over the maximum absorbency Super Absorbent Gel Core. The rapid absorption prevents overloading any one part of the pad and leaves the top layer dry to the touch – protecting you from skin irritation and Urinary Tract Infections.
In the case of particularly heavy incontinence, our leakage barrier leg cuffs rise to the task of containing liquid until the pad can fully absorb it. Made with advanced hydrophobic technology, the cuffs create a seal against your inner thigh, and repel liquid back into the center of the pad. The cuffs remain comfortable during movement and are incredibly beneficial when laying down.

Although these pads will work when placed in regular underwear, we designed them primarily for use as part of the 2-piece system, paired with Protective Underwear, Premium Briefs, or Net Pants (sold separately). As such, most pads do NOT have an adhesive strip. Using the 2-piece system means changing just the insert pad instead of having to change the entire brief or diaper multiple times a day. This results in faster, easier changes, and cost savings compared to using briefs or protective underwear alone. Not to mention, changing only the pad means less product waste, making it much more environmentally friendly than other options.

Very Absorbent. The additional elasticized lining in the panties helps to avoid leakage during the overnight hours. Although for larger women you might want to experiment with larger extended coverage equal to the front coverage as the buttocks area on heavier people also need that area protected more than the current product allows for. I need to use the product with the larger portion in the front (as recommended for men) but the rear portion if the pad coverage is not adequate to prevent leakage. Make them the same size on both ends and it would be better. As they are very expensive, this might cut down on the changing of the pads during the middle of the night and for those of us on low income budgets it would be a Godsend. It becomes almost 1/5th of the total monthly income I receive, but a necessary purchase nonetheless. We must do without other things in order to stay dry and comfortable.
